Sketches July 22, 2007

I've been testing out a new fountain pen called a Namiki. Still trying to break it in. The fibers in the brown paper can get caught in the nib, so I'm trying to be careful. Perhaps I'll only use it on white paper from now on. Here are some sketches done with a variety of different pens. I was looking at some old Travis Charest stuff as a study. Man that guy is good.

Sweet sketching Daniel! That pen looks good on that kind of paper.

SUPER THANKS! For solving that little mystery I had going about my sketch! You were right and now I feel a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders!

Thanks Daniel.

Hey Daniel,

Thanks for checking out my blog. You got some cool stuff here too! Where did you get that toned paper sketchbook? That's a pretty good find.

Yep, it was nice to meet you at the Con. Hopefully, I'll run into you again down the line at another con or comic book store or some other art event. I tend to haunt those places...

Later,
Barbara
